BIOCAS Conference
Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference
November 27 – 30, 2007, Montréal, Canada
The recent years have seen a new wave of innovation in circuits and systems inspired by biology and healthcare, life sciences, physical sciences and engineering with application to medical problems. The aim of this IEEE BIOCAS2007 international conference is to strengthen the link between the CAS society and biotechnologies by facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations among scientists, engineers and medical researchers and practitioners to solve complex problems and innovating in this rapidly growing area of research.
The multidisciplinary approach of this event will enable the CAS community to benefit from several tutorials and technical sessions covering a wide range of topics such as:
- Innovative circuits for medical applications
- Body Area Networks
- Sensor Network
- Implantable electronics
- Biosensor devices and interface circuits
- Biosignal processing
- Biomedical imaging and image processing
- BioMEMS
- Biomedical instrumentations
- Biomedical aids to the disabled
- Lab-on-chip
- Telecare systems
- Wireless technology for medical apps
- Bioinformatics
- Medical information systems
This event will give to researcher in this area a unique opportunity to broaden their insight in the new and developing area of medical technologies, create inter-disciplinary bonding and the innovative solutions that today’s healthcare problems and challenges require.
