Printer Grad Offices Add Configure

Windows Instructions

• Go to add printer

• Local Printer (not automatically detect)

• Create a new port -> Standard TCP/IP Port

• IP address: 10.162.34.222

• Device Type: Standard -> Generic Network Card

• Then after clicking "Finish", choose HP ... LaserJet2300 ... if not found then use HP LaserJet 2100

• Check the status of the printer deathvalley.compsci.jhu.edu (also will give you its IP address)

Mac Instructions

• Go to Print & Fax in System Preferences

• Click on "+"

• Choose HP Jetdirect - Socket (if you can't find it, then choose Line Printer Daemon - LPD)

• In "Address" type - deathvalley.compsci.jhu.edu

• Then choose HP ... LaserJet2300

• Change Name if you would like

• Click Add
