Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics
The Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (LCSR) is being created as the broad center for robotics research at the Johns Hopkins University, based within the G.W.C. Whiting School of Engineering (WSE). LCSR will be formally incorporated on July 1, 2007.
LCSR is comprised of personnel from all JHU divisions including WSE, the JHU School of Medicine (SOM), the JHU Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), and collaborators worldwide.
LCSR will be located in the new Computational Science and Engineering Building on the
JHU Homewood Campus.
The new Computational Science and Engineering Building (CSEB) offers an exciting opportunity to strengthen the Whiting School’s commitment to multidisciplinary research and education, as well as our already-strong ties to medicine and the life sciences.
