Abstract

This talk will first present a new classification scheme for surgical robots, followed by a description of one "hands on" bone-mounted robot developed at Imperial College, London, and a second bone-mounted orthopaedic robot developed at the Institute for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (ICAOS) in Pittsburgh.

Bio

Sam Song received his Ph.D. from Imperial College, London, in 2005. He is currently at the Institute for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (ICAOS) in Pittsburgh.
