Title: Meeting the Challenges of the 21st Century Engineer
Abstract:
This discussion will focus on the IEEE Baltimore section sponsored conference attended on October 14-15, 2006. The conference theme was “Meeting the Challenges of the 21st Century Engineer”. Different speakers presented talks on diverse areas that included conquering the challenges of graduate school, IEEE WIE for the 21st century, resources for modern engineers, gender and diversity in 21st century engineering etc. Brief summaries will be presented for selected talks that were tailored for students.
Biography:
Ndubuisi Ekekwe is a Ph.D student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. He obtained B.Eng degree from Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria in 1998. His research interest involves the design and development of mixed signal VLSI chips for adaptive control of low power robotic systems.
