Overview
This purpose of this research study is to investigate the importance of visual/haptic feedback while performing during robot-assisted palpation. The study will examine the use of Ultrasound Elastography compared to manual palpation in the detection of tumors. Ultrasound Elastography is a non-invasive method of detecting tumors based on tissue stiffness or strain using ultrasound technology. The study will compare Ultrasound Elastography to manual palpation, which is commonly used today in the localization of tumors. We anticipate that approximately 20 people will participate in this study.
