Welcome to my web page. I am currently a PhD Candidate at the Johns Hopkins University and a research assistant at the NSF Engineering Research Center for Computer-Integrated Surgical Systems and Technologies (ERC-CISST). My PhD advisors are Dr. Gregory Hager and Dr. Gabor Fichtinger.
I have received an MS degree in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University in 2007, an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2005 and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2003. I have received a number of rewards including the Breast Cancer Pre-Doctoral Traineeship Award in 2008 ($97,000 total) and the Link Foundation Fellowship , also in 2008 ($25,000 total).
